Chicken Shawarma

Asalamalaykum!

It’s been 18 months na wala ko kakaon sang chicken shawarma. Mas gusto ko ang chicken kesa sa beef shawarma eh. Kagab-i mga alas onse na sang kagab-ihon daw nadumduman ko ang shawarma ti gusto ko tani magkaon pero sarado na ang mga shops diri. So, naghulat na lang ko eh asta the following day kay daw maano na gid ko makatilaw liwat sini. Mayo man ni nga pagkaon basta kis-a lang lol.

Sa sobra ko nga kahidlaw, daw indi ko maributay ginapangpiksyuran ko pa kada ingkit ko haha!

I Miss Blogging

Really, i miss blogging but wala ako maisip na i-blog..  I mean yeah maraming mai-blog but I can’t compose.  I don’t know how to construct anymore.  Maybe because my brain is too drained from work by the time I get home.  Sad.

I also miss you guys, my blogosphere friends!  I miss Jon Cabron, I miss Maru, I miss DEFPOTEC, Kengkay, Katherine, Tarugs, Kuya Jophil, Kwan at marraaaaami pang iba.  Di ko na ma link mga names nyo sa blogs niyo, obviously I am too lazy.  Sorry guys but I heart you all super heaps!

Hope to start updating again, soon..

Oh, btw I met a new blogosphere friend he is from my place too (Victorias City – siyudad sang kalamay).  Hi Jedz!  Thanks for dropping here sa balay ko and yeah I’ll be there on December 2009.  Nyapon ta sa JB’s haha!

Cooking Season Update

Nang dahil kay Aling Baby naalala ko pala na may dapat akong i-update haha. Salamat Aling Baby, actually kelangan ko lang ng may mag remind para sipagin mag-update hehe.

Kahit po di mahilig ang luto sa akin eh successful naman itong niluto kong adobo, tsk. Last ko na luto nito mga 1 year ago pa pero di ko pa nalimutan lutuin haha. Super excited pa and lola ka kakaprepare ng mga sangkap:

Nakalimutan lang isali sa picture taking ang whole black peppercorn, at laurel leaves. Added a teaspoon of sugar (optional but I do this), gives a mystery to its taste hehe..

First shempre, halo-halo lang lahat ng sangkap excluding potatoes (optional rin) and the green chilli. I only use half of the onions coz the other half will be on the second stage.
Pinakuluan ko sya ng pinakuluan until the misture has thicken while on a separate frying pan, I pan fry the potatoes on a light fire until it is cooked.

Kapag malambot na ang pork meat (malambot naman lahat ng meat dito kaya di na kelangan pakuluan ng 3 days lol) and when the mixture is thick enough, we are ready for the second stage, thus, lessen ko ang apoy.

Now, remove the potatoes out from the pan. Using the same pan, gigisa ko ang natirang onion ng sandali. Ngayon i’ll scoop out all the meat (leaving the gravy behind) at i-piprito ko sya with the onions over a medium fire.

I never use salt. This is the time to make timpla with the taste and color. Prito, prito, prito… add a splash of soy sauce until the meat is golden brown. Time for the potatoes to join the fun and the green chilli too! Para maging friends ang lahat ng sangkap, ibuhos ang konting gravy na natira at pakuluan once.
We’re DONE!
